This episode has an arc recap at the beginning. I don’t think I’ve seen a recap at the beginning of a Gintama episode since they stopped explaining the basic premise way back in the single-digit episodes. It’s weird and I think I hate it.

In any case, looking for the aliens in-game didn’t pan out, so they decided to have an offline strategy meeting (sans Hasegawa, whom they presumably forgot to invite).

Sachan is the MVP of the episode, since while everyone else was ready to give up and just be screwdrivers, she was going around using her ninja skillz to gather information on the aliens so Gin-san could drive a fucking truck into their ship. We also get the best scene in the series thus far when Gin-san blows up the UFO with his dick. They forget to have the aliens turn them back beforehand, but whatever.

After the ED there’s a short bit of Kagura feeling sorry for various bugs and Gin-san reassuring her they they’re fine. It’s cute, I guess.

Next episode’s got Otsu in it. Till next time.
