THE STORY THUS FAR: idk, man, i wasn’t paying attention. vidya games, y’know
Oh, shit, dude it’s an arc that got a trailer. It’s also the introductory arc for the blonde lady with the scar on her face whose name I can never remember. This should be a thing.
The arc’s plot is kicked off when a pickpocket makes the mistake of thinking Our Hero has any money on him, and ends up having to try and bribe him to avoid getting his tiny ass taken to the police. Gin-san never showed the slightest indication he was even thinking of pressing charges against the kid, but he (Seita) didn’t know that. In any case, it turns out the kid is trying to save money to buy some time with a high-class prostitute he believes is his mom, so Otose gives him a job.
This episode has a serious panning problem. Pretty much every panning shot looks really jerky and jittery and hurt my eyes a bit. When they zoom in on a wider shot it’s not a problem, but even so. Ow.
The blonde lady’s name is Tsukuyo, by the way. Let’s see if I still remember that tomorrow.
This episode was pretty awesome, panning problems or no, and I’m already feeling hyped for the rest of the arc. Plus, I got to complain about something technical. I always have more fun talking about technical stuff than story and character stuff, despite my extremely limited knowledge of that sort of thing. Any review where I get to talk about the technical aspects of something is, in my opinion, a Good Review.
Oh, and there’s a new ending this episode. It’s pretty good. I like the song.
Next episode Kagura’s brother changed his hair color. Till next time.
