Anyone here remember Osmosis Jones? Wasn’t that a good movie? It had a great cast, too – Bill Murray, Chris Rock, Laurence Fishburne, what a team. Did you ever look at that movie and think, “Hey, you know what eould make this better? If the blood cells had tiddies.”
No? Well that’s your weakness, and the brilliant minds behind Cells at Work (Hataraku Saibou) simply will not tolerate that kind of cowardice.
If your cells don’t look like this fuck you.
This show is pretty good, actually. I like that the bacteria look like aliens, and that the hats for the blood cells look like actual red blood cells. Also, why are the platelets kindergarteners?
I really like the backgrounds for this show, and the animation is more decent than I expected.
Anime Osmosis Jones is actually really funny. I sincerely apologize for expecting it to just be generic gimmicky nonsense. I’ll be sticking with this one.
