I sense fairy tales…
Grimms Notes the Animation is about a group of characters wandering through beloved fairy tales battling a corrupting influence and becoming closer as friends.
Wait, isn’t that the plot of Kingdom Hearts? It is! This is basically Kingdom Hearts: the anime! Only not nearly as fun. Or interesting. Or good. I mean it’s not bad, per se, the animation itself is decent, some of the characters are likable enough, and the question of pre-determined fate versus free will is a interesting one, but I got bored about ten minutes in and never really recovered.
Maybe you’ll enjoy this one, but I’d really rather just play Kingdom Hearts, to be honest.
