Senryu Girl is a short(ish) anime about a girl who communicates by writing down senryu, which are basically just haiku without the requisite nature imagery.
It’s cute! Kinda basic, I guess. Nothing about the series is a particular standout aside from the focus on classical poetry and the fact that hed boyfriend looks like Bart. Its also really slow, as far as short anime go, which raises the question of why the episodes are only 12 minutes instead of 25.
Bartsujima is probably the best character so far. They’re all very archetypical, but Bart is a nice combination of awkward tough guy and doting sweetheart which makes him really endearing.
You could honestly do a lot worse than this series. I might keep up with it, if I don’t forget.
