First Impressions: Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious

You know that gamer that has to be over leveled for every quest, and carries around extras of their extra equipment, and always has at least three times as many healing items as they could possibly need?

You ever wanna see an anime about that gamer? No? That’s fair.

While the idea behind Cautious Hero has potential, depending on how it’s presented, making your main character incredibly unlikable is a terrible idea, no matter the premise. Unfortunately, nobody informed the makers of this show, who, in addition to making Our Hero a massive jerk, also saw fit to make every other character horrendously annoying. Add that to the hyper-sexualized, if wonderfully expressive, female characters, and it makes Cautious Hero one anime I am happy never to see again.

Maybe I’m missing something, and you’ll enjoy it, but in all honesty, there are better shows to spend your time on.

Also I’m fairly sure the artists worked in hentai at some point. So, there’s that.
