First Impressions: ORESUKI Are you the only one who loves me?

Long, beleagured sigh.

Have any of y’all ever read that manga “I’m the Main Character of a Harem Anime, But I’m Gay so Every Day is Hell for Me?” It’s a good manga. I wish it was longer.

I’m stalling because I don’t want to watch this. But every minute I stall is another minute before I can watch the wrestling isekai, so I guess I may as well quit my bitching and get this shit over with.

A good rule of thumb for panty shots is the ones seen from another character’s POV are fine, but the ones solely for the benefit of the audience are voyeristic and gross and guess which camp the one we get in the first minute and a half of this episode falls into. Here’s a hint: it’s not the one that’s fine.

This anime is bad. The character introductions are lazy, the nicknames are dumb, the dialogue is annoying, the jokes don’t land, the girls are catty, the animation (when it’s there) rarely rises to the level of “okay”, and it’s just generally bad and boring and I hate it.

The gag that the girls really like the cinnamon roll best friend rather than the Boring GeneriDude could have been funny if it hadn’t been executed so clumsily, and the twist of Kirito being an asshole on purpose rather than by accident like he usually is almost interesting enough for me to give it another episode, but as it is I spent most of the episode praying for an auto-drop that never came. Pass.
