Is it just me, or are there a lot of isekai coming out this season? Not that I’m complaining, of course.
This seems like a fairly standard isekai, generally speaking, but I can already tell I’mma love this one, for one very simple reason: I really, really like the main character. Mile (pronounced like, well, mile) is silly, tells terrible jokes, wants very much to lead a normal life, and instantly and obviously falls in love with every woman she meets. It’s wonderful. I love her.
The premise isn’t bad, either: Mile stood out in her original world intellectually, and as a result she always felt isolated and never managed to make friends. After an admittedly (in universe, even!) cliché’d death/reincarnation to a new world, she asked to have all her abilities be completely average, so that she’d be able to live a normal life. Of course, it doesn’t really go to plan (hence the title), and that’s where all the fun begins!
You should absolutely watch this one, especially if you’re a fan of awesome ladies having adventures together.
