First Impressions: Assassin’s Pride

An assassin teaching a girl how to fight? Sounds intriguing…

Angry baby!

Or not.

There’s nothing wrong with this one, per se – the animation, music, etc are all fairly decent, the premise has potential, and the characters are fine. I can’t quite shake the feeling something’s off about the whole thing, though. It’s not bad, or anything, but it’s never quite good, either. Nothing about the show as a whole feels like it fits together. Maybe it was the peacefully cheerful music directly after watching a guy murder a whole bunch of people. Or maybe, it’s just the way the main character keeps calling all the girls he meets ‘milady’.

I probably won’t watch this again. Feel free to make up your own mind, though.
