Is this another idol anime?
I don’t think this is an idol anime, actually. At least, not in the traditional sense. I mean, yeah there’s a competition, and singing, and all that, but this show seems more… dark than the traditional idol anime. There’s a shady government agency/business that selects random cute girls to form idol groups, because what amounts to an Idol (the biblical, God shall smite thee for worshiping kind, not the singing and dancing kind) told them to. I have no idea what’s going on.
I’m not opposed to it, though. If I were at all interested in idol anime, I might watch this one again. In fact, I might watch this one again, anyway, at least if I can’t find anything else on.
Check it out for yourself, and maybe you can explain what the heck is happening.
