Here’s another one based on a game. Are anime creators running out of ideas?
This one wasn’t bad. Yeah, the main character is kind of stupid/annoying, but that’s just room to grow, right? I really like the concept of saving books by having authors enter them in order to preserve them from “Taint,” which, in turn, tries to destroy them by changing the plot. The art and animation are both good, and I like the characters (mostly despite myself, in Dazai’s case). Also, this episode has to have the best use of the ‘introduce a character at the end’ trope I’ve ever seen, and I appreciate that.
Overall, Bungo’s pretty good, and I wouldn’t be opposed to watching it again. Lemme know what you think?
