And… we’re back to anime based on something else (a manga, is this case). Neat.
I really enjoy it when any form of media allows their female characters to be as dumb, chaotic, and/or normal as their male characters. Especially when said female characters are the main character, as is the case with Wave. The art and animation for this one are both interesting and suit the style of show perfectly, and the sound design is great – which is especially important for an anime about a radio show host. The pacing can get a little confusing at times, but it’s not distracting enough that I had to stop or rewind at any point.
While I’m not usually interested in slice of life style anime, this one manages to surpass my reservations. I’ll probably watch it again.
