Attention grabbing one liner.
Woodpecker Detective’s Office is about the above poet’s friend reminiscing about when the two of them investigating local crimes and mysteries to pay the bills. It’s nice. The art style feels kind of old-timey to me, which suits the whole ‘character reminiscing about the past’ thing they’ve got going. The mystery aspect of the show is interesting, and the amateur detective-poet manages to be smart without being smug or annoying, which is certainly refreshing, in this kind of show.
I’ll probably watch it again. Let me know what you think?
