War! Psuedo-Norse Mythology! Child Soldiers! Magic!
Warlords of Sigrdrifa is a beautiful and interesting anime, even if children being made to fight a war due to Magic Reasons will never sit quite right with me. It’s got a good balance of lighthearted and heartbreaking. The characters are interesting, likable, and understandable. The plot is… plotty, and once I got past the nit-picky that is not what that is/how that works instinct, I genuinely enjoyed it.
