It’s a fishing anime.
It’s really gay, as all sports and hobby anime are, and then halfway through the premiere they pull out the “they’re sisters!” twist. As they did this in the first episode, and not partway through the season when the subtext would be too much to bear, I’m willing to give it a second chance.
Also they go fishing. And cook fish. As I am uninterested in catching fish and unable to consume it, both of these aspects are entirely lost on me. I’m glad they’re having fun, though, and I hope the series doesn’t botch the grief angle it spent a good part of the episode setting up. All in all, this looks like a fun way to kill a few minutes on Friday mornings. Check it out.
