This animation is giving me strong RWBY vibes.
Not in a bad way, though. Overall, this was a good first episode. It does a decent job setting everything up, and the mildly generic characterization and cgi animation actually works in its favor, making it seem like the viewer is watching a comic book. Feel free to check it out when you have the chance, there are worse ways to spend half an hour on a Sunday morning.
